A yearlong renovation at City Plaza features outdoor decklots and
new green screen lighting, all complete over eight acres of lush green forest behind the iconic steel-frame tower buildings.
An upgraded entrance to City and Broadway will open Friday between State St. at the corner of North Jefferson Way Northeast and Broadway near Capitol Park. In 2017, additional upgrades along with the project continue that include new street sweeping infrastructure through northbound on Broadway while landscaping for retail space and construction on a new southbound entrance just east of Broadway is continuing. Work may extend over Spring Valley, North and South Streets that enter State Street between State and East Washington Terrace, and north and east the intersection between City and Lincoln Street and in addition, a temporary exit is set between State and Washington street that runs to the South entrance ramp (East Entrance) to provide easy maneuver in the project site.
